For this piece I was assigned an article from Wired Magazine to design a digital version of. The goal was to design the type as well and diverse as a physical magazine article. Most well designed physical articles will have at least ten different type variants per page, so I desired to have the same amount per screen width.
Here are a few snapshots from the article, “They Were ‘Calling to Help.’ Then They Stole Thousands”. Notice the variety of type used in the design and how it is used to help engage the reader into the story.
